Baberton Golf Club
Steeped in history, Baberton Golf Course has always been innovative, being home of the first steel-shafted clubs in the world. Situated in West Edinburgh with a 6129-yard, par 69, eighteen hole parkland layout, the clubhouse caters for members with changing room facilities, dining/function area and casual bar. Always updating, Baberton decided to tender for solar pv to be installed on the clubhouse roof area.
Harburn Golf Club
Pioneering energy efficiency in the recreational and sport sector, Harburn Golf Club is situated a short distance west of Edinburgh in West Calder, Harburn Golf Club has an 18 hole heathland golf course which can trace its origins back to 1925 and one of the best golf courses in West Lothian, alongside superb onsite restaurant partner, Bistro19 whose quality is recognised throughout the region.
The Bridge Community Project
The Bridge Community Project's holistic approach to comfort and empowerment of its clients and members. The Bridge Community was founded to improve well-being and empower the people of West Lothian by tackling mental health issues through providing counselling and financial support, made possible through donations and acts of charity.
Fetteresso Church
How Fetteresso Church installed solar panels to decarbonize and power an Air Source Heat Pump system. After it became evident to Fetteresso Church that its carbon footprint was at odds with the teachings of stewardship and care for the community, the Church consulted with energy firms on how to decarbonize, and to reduce their energy costs.
